This Privacy Policy explains how Neet LLC (“Neet,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) collects, uses, shares, and protects information when you access or use Neet, including our website, online platform, teamspaces, order and invoice workspaces, collaboration tools, payment tracking features, communications, and related services.

By accessing or using Neet, you acknowledge this Privacy Policy.

Neet is intended for business, professional, and commercial use. When a business, organization, or other user enters information about its own customers, suppliers, employees, or contacts into a teamspace, order, or invoice, that user is responsible for that information and for its own compliance obligations, and Neet processes the information to provide the platform. Depending on the context and applicable law, Neet may act as a controller or equivalent for account, teamspace administration, website, security, and communications information, and may act as a processor or service provider for order, invoice, file, comment, and payment tracking content that users enter into the platform. Where required in connection with our services, Neet may enter into an appropriate data processing agreement with a business customer.

This Privacy Policy is also intended, where applicable, to serve as Neet's notice at collection under U.S. state privacy laws. Where required, Neet will make this Privacy Policy or an appropriate notice available at or before the point at which personal information is collected. Sections 2, 4, 5, 10, and 13 describe the categories of personal information we collect, the purposes for which we use it, the categories of recipients, and our retention practices.

1. What Neet Is

Neet is an online order and invoice collaboration platform that helps buyers, suppliers, and invited users create, share, review, revise, comment on, approve, and track commercial orders, invoices, related files, and payment information in a shared digital workspace.

Neet provides workflow, collaboration, visibility, and recordkeeping tools. Neet does not process payments, hold funds, provide escrow, arrange shipping, inspect goods, verify transactions, or act as a buyer, supplier, broker, freight forwarder, customs broker, bank, payment processor, insurer, or guarantor.

2. Information We Collect

We collect information that users provide to us, information generated through use of the platform, and limited technical information needed to operate, secure, troubleshoot, and maintain Neet.

Account Information

We may collect information such as:

  • Name
  • Email address
  • Phone number
  • Login credentials or authentication information
  • Account settings
  • User role
  • Language or communication preferences
  • Other information you provide when creating or managing an account

Users may create or access accounts through email and password, magic link, Google login, phone number login, or other authentication methods that Neet may support now or in the future.

Teamspace Information

We may collect information related to teamspaces, including:

  • Teamspace name
  • Teamspace profile details
  • Company, organization, project, or personal teamspace information
  • Profile photo or logo
  • Address or company profile information, if provided
  • Teamspace members
  • Roles and permissions
  • Invitations and pending invites
  • Teamspace activity

A teamspace may represent a company, supplier, buyer, organization, individual, family project, personal project, or other group of users.

Order and Invoice Information

Neet allows users to create flexible order and invoice workspaces. We may collect and store information users enter, upload, attach, or share through orders, invoices, and related workspaces, including:

  • Buyer information
  • Supplier information
  • Contact details
  • Product or service details
  • Descriptions
  • Quantities
  • Pricing
  • Totals
  • Payment terms
  • Payment milestones
  • Payment methods
  • Shipping-related terms
  • Notes
  • Custom columns
  • Custom fields
  • Files
  • Photos
  • Images
  • Comments
  • Approvals
  • Activity history
  • Any other information users choose to enter into the order, invoice, or related workspace

Because Neet may provide flexible, table-like order and invoice tools, users may enter information in custom formats or custom columns. Users are responsible for the information they enter, upload, share, or approve.

Files, Photos, Comments, and Messages

We may collect files, photos, images, comments, messages, notes, attachments, internal comments, external comments, and other materials that users upload, post, send, or share through Neet.

Approval and Activity Information

We may collect information about actions taken in Neet, including order or invoice creation, edits, comments, uploads, invitations, role changes, access changes, approvals, payment milestone updates, login activity, account activity, and other platform activity.

Payment Tracking Information

Neet may collect and store user-entered payment tracking information, including payment milestones, payment percentages, payment amounts, payment method/type, due points or timing, buyer-side “paid” markers, supplier-side “received” markers, payment notes or status updates, and related activity history.

Neet does not process, collect, hold, transfer, release, settle, verify, or guarantee payments. Payment tracking information is manually entered by users and is used for workflow visibility only.

Contact Information About Others

Users may enter contact information for buyers, suppliers, team members, family members, representatives, or other invitees.

If you provide another person’s contact information to Neet, invite another person to Neet, or enter another person’s information into an order, invoice, or workspace, you represent that you have a lawful basis, permission, or other right to provide that information to Neet for the invitation, order, invoice, collaboration, or platform workflow.

You are responsible for ensuring that the recipient is authorized to receive the invitation and any related order, invoice, teamspace, or workspace information.

Communications With Us

We may collect information when you contact us, request support, respond to emails, submit feedback, participate in onboarding, or otherwise communicate with Neet.

This may include your name, email address, message content, attachments, and any other information you choose to provide.

Technical, Device, Log, and Security Information

We may collect limited technical, device, usage, and log information for platform operations, troubleshooting, security, fraud prevention, and service reliability, such as:

  • IP address
  • Device type
  • Browser type
  • Operating system
  • Session information
  • Log data
  • Authentication events
  • Error reports
  • Security events
  • Pages or features accessed
  • Date and time of activity
  • Referring or exit pages
  • General platform usage information

Depending on the services enabled and your choices, we may also collect website usage, analytics, conversion, and advertising-related information through cookies, pixels, local storage, tags, or similar technologies as described in Section 7.

3. Sensitive Information

Neet is not designed to collect or store sensitive personal information as part of its order and invoice collaboration workflow.

Users should not enter or upload sensitive personal information unless it is necessary for their transaction and they have the legal right to do so.

Sensitive information may include government identification numbers, passport numbers, driver’s license numbers, bank account details, payment card information, tax identification numbers, health information, biometric information, children’s information, or other highly sensitive personal information.

If a user chooses to enter or upload sensitive information, that user is responsible for ensuring that the information is accurate, lawful, necessary, and shared only with appropriate recipients.

4. How We Use Information

We may use information to:

  • Provide, operate, and maintain Neet
  • Create and manage accounts
  • Authenticate users
  • Create and manage teamspaces
  • Create, display, and manage orders and invoices
  • Enable order and invoice collaboration
  • Enable comments, uploads, approvals, version history, and activity history
  • Enable manual payment milestone tracking
  • Send invitations and notifications
  • Provide customer support
  • Troubleshoot bugs and technical issues
  • Secure accounts and the platform
  • Detect, prevent, and respond to misuse, fraud, abuse, security incidents, or legal risk
  • Understand website and product usage
  • Improve and develop the platform
  • Measure the effectiveness of marketing and advertising where such technologies are enabled
  • Remember and apply cookie and privacy preferences
  • Communicate with users about product updates, service messages, and support
  • Comply with legal obligations
  • Enforce our Terms of Service
  • Protect the rights, safety, and security of Neet, users, and others

For individuals in the European Economic Area, United Kingdom, Switzerland, or other jurisdictions that require a legal basis for processing, Neet may rely on one or more of the following bases depending on the activity: performance of a contract or steps taken at your request, compliance with legal obligations, Neet’s legitimate interests where those interests are not overridden by your rights, and consent where consent is required. You may withdraw consent at any time for processing based on consent, without affecting processing that occurred before withdrawal.

5. How Information Is Shared

Neet does not sell personal information for money.

Depending on the analytics or advertising technologies that are enabled, certain disclosures of identifiers, device information, or internet activity to analytics, advertising, or measurement partners may be considered “sharing,” “sale,” or processing for targeted advertising under some U.S. state privacy laws. Where applicable, users may exercise available opt-out rights as described in Section 13.

We may share information in the following ways.

With Authorized Users

Neet is a collaboration platform. Information entered into a teamspace, order, invoice, workspace, comment, file, or payment tracking area may be visible to users who are invited, authorized, assigned a role, added to an order or invoice, or otherwise given access through platform permissions.

For example:

  • Teamspace Admins may access teamspace orders, invoices, drafts, files, comments, payment information, activity history, and related information.
  • Members may access orders or invoices they created or were added to.
  • Viewers may access orders, invoices, or drafts they were added to, subject to their limited permissions.
  • Invited recipients may be able to view the specific order or invoice they were invited to.
  • Buyer-side and supplier-side users may see relevant order, invoice, approval, comment, and payment milestone information.

Users are responsible for inviting the correct people and assigning appropriate permissions.

With Service Providers

We may share information with third-party service providers that help us operate, host, secure, support, measure, market, and deliver Neet.

These may include:

  • Hosting providers
  • Database providers
  • Cloud infrastructure providers
  • Storage providers
  • Authentication providers
  • Email providers
  • Phone, SMS, or verification providers
  • Customer support providers
  • Security providers
  • Error monitoring providers
  • Analytics providers
  • Advertising and conversion-measurement providers
  • Product operations providers
  • Other vendors that help us provide, secure, improve, or measure the platform

Depending on the services enabled, these providers may include providers such as Supabase, Vercel, Google authentication services, Google analytics or advertising services, email providers, phone verification providers, and similar service providers.

These providers may process information on our behalf, as independent controllers where applicable, or as otherwise permitted by law and their applicable terms.

With Third-Party Login, Analytics, Advertising, or Communication Services

If you use Google login, phone login, magic link, WeChat login if later supported, or another third-party authentication or communication method, information may be processed by that third-party service according to its own terms and privacy policy.

If analytics or advertising technologies are enabled, third-party providers may receive device, browser, usage, conversion, or similar information as described in Section 7 and subject to applicable consent and opt-out choices.

Neet is not responsible for the privacy practices of third-party services outside our control.

For Legal, Safety, and Security Reasons

We may share information if we believe it is reasonably necessary to:

  • Comply with law, regulation, legal process, or government request
  • Enforce our Terms of Service
  • Protect the rights, property, safety, or security of Neet, users, or others
  • Detect, prevent, or respond to fraud, abuse, security incidents, sanctions risk, counterfeit activity, misuse, or unlawful activity
  • Resolve disputes
  • Protect platform integrity

Business Transfers

If Neet is involved in a merger, acquisition, financing, reorganization, sale of assets, bankruptcy, or similar transaction, information may be transferred or disclosed as part of that transaction, subject to appropriate protections where required.

Aggregated or De-Identified Information

We may use and share aggregated, anonymized, or de-identified information that does not reasonably identify a specific person, teamspace, order, invoice, buyer, supplier, or user.

We may use this information for product improvement, security, reporting, research, business, and operational purposes.

6. AI and Automated Tools

Neet does not currently use user order or invoice content, files, comments, payment tracking information, or other User Content to train AI models.

Neet may use automated tools or AI-assisted features in the future to provide, support, translate, summarize, search, organize, extract, or improve platform functionality.

If we use third-party AI providers in the future to process User Content, we will describe the processing in this Privacy Policy or provide other appropriate notice.

Neet will not knowingly use identifiable User Content to train third-party public AI models without appropriate notice, permission, or legal basis.

Users should not enter confidential, sensitive, or personal information into any AI-assisted feature unless they are authorized to do so and are comfortable with that information being processed for the feature.

7. Cookies and Similar Technologies

Neet uses cookies, local storage, tokens, and similar technologies that are necessary to operate the website and platform, authenticate users, maintain sessions, remember language and other preferences, secure accounts, preserve consent choices, and provide core functionality. These technologies are referred to here collectively as “cookies and similar technologies.”

Depending on the services enabled, Neet may also use non-essential analytics and advertising technologies, including cookies, pixels, tags, scripts, and similar tools, to understand how visitors use Neet, measure conversions and advertising performance, improve the website and product experience, and support relevant advertising or remarketing.

Our cookie preference categories are:

  • Essential. Required for security, authentication, core site functionality, saved preferences, and similar functions. Essential technologies cannot be disabled through our Cookie settings where they are necessary to provide the service.
  • Analytics. Helps us understand how visitors use Neet and measure website or product performance.
  • Advertising. Helps us measure advertising performance, conversions, and, where enabled, support relevant advertising or remarketing.

Where applicable law requires consent, Neet will not activate non-essential analytics or advertising technologies until the required consent has been obtained. You can accept, reject, or manage non-essential cookie preferences through the cookie consent interface and can revisit those choices through Cookie settings in the website footer.

Depending on the services enabled, Neet may use third-party tools such as Google Analytics, Google Ads, Google Tag Manager, or similar services. The specific tools used may change as our services evolve. Third-party providers may process information according to their own privacy terms in addition to any processing they perform on our behalf.

Google Services and Advertising Disclosures

If Google analytics or advertising services are enabled, Neet may use services such as Google Analytics, Google Ads, Google Tag Manager, and related Google measurement or advertising tools to understand website usage, measure conversions and advertising performance, improve Neet, and, where enabled, support advertising or remarketing.

If Neet enables Google Ads remarketing, Google Analytics Advertising Features, audience features, or similar Google advertising services, Google and other third-party vendors may use cookies, browser or device identifiers, tags, or similar technologies to measure interactions with our website, report how advertising impressions and other advertising services relate to visits to Neet, and, where enabled, show ads based on prior visits to our website.

Where applicable law requires consent, Neet will not activate non-essential Google analytics or advertising technologies until the required consent has been obtained. You can accept, reject, or manage Neet's non-essential analytics and advertising technologies through Cookie settings in the website footer and can change your choices later.

Google also provides controls that may allow you to manage or opt out of certain Google analytics or personalized advertising activities. Depending on the Google services enabled, these may include Google Ads Settings at adssettings.google.com and the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on at tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout. Additional industry opt-out tools may also be available in your jurisdiction.

Neet does not intentionally use order or invoice contents, uploaded files, comments, or sensitive personal information entered into the Neet platform to create advertising audiences or target advertising through Google services.

More information about how Google uses information from sites and apps that use its services is available at policies.google.com/technologies/partner-sites.

You may also control certain technologies through your browser or device settings. Disabling essential cookies or similar technologies may affect your ability to use Neet.

Neet does not currently treat a browser “Do Not Track” signal as a universal opt-out mechanism because there is no single accepted standard for interpreting it.

Where applicable law requires Neet to recognize a legally valid browser-based universal opt-out preference signal, Neet will process that signal as required by applicable law.

8. Emails, Notifications, and Communications

Neet may send transactional, administrative, security, account, order, invoice, invitation, approval, comment, payment tracking, and service-related communications.

These communications may be sent by email, phone, SMS, in-app notification, or other contact methods associated with your account or invitations.

Transactional and service-related communications are part of the platform and may be necessary for use of Neet.

Neet may also send marketing or promotional communications where permitted by law. You may opt out of marketing emails by following the unsubscribe instructions in the message or contacting us at contact@useneet.com. Even if you opt out of marketing communications, you may still receive transactional or service-related communications.

Neet will not knowingly send marketing SMS messages without consent where consent is required by law.

If you provide a phone number to Neet, you consent to receive transactional and service-related text messages at that number, such as login codes, invitations you request, and order or invoice notifications. Message and data rates may apply. You may stop receiving text messages by replying STOP where that option is available or by contacting us at contact@useneet.com. Stopping text messages may limit phone-based login and invitation features. Phone numbers and text-message consent are not shared with third parties for their own marketing purposes.

9. International Users and Data Transfers

Neet may be used by individuals and organizations in the United States, China, and other countries.

Information may be stored, processed, or accessed in the United States and other countries where Neet or its service providers operate. These countries may have data protection laws that differ from those in your country.

Where applicable law requires a lawful mechanism for an international transfer of personal information, Neet will use or require an appropriate transfer mechanism, which may include an adequacy decision, contractual safeguards such as standard contractual clauses, or another mechanism recognized by applicable law.

By using Neet or providing information to Neet, you understand that your information may be processed in the United States and other countries as described in this Privacy Policy.

Users are responsible for ensuring that personal information they enter, upload, invite, or share through Neet is handled lawfully for their own purposes and relationships. Neet may provide supplemental privacy notices where required by local law.

Users in the European Economic Area, United Kingdom, and Switzerland

Where applicable law requires a lawful transfer mechanism for personal information transferred from these jurisdictions to the United States or another country, Neet will use an appropriate mechanism. Depending on the circumstances, this may include an adequacy decision, the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses, the UK International Data Transfer Addendum, or another mechanism permitted by applicable law, together with supplementary measures where appropriate. Where applicable law requires Neet to appoint a representative in the European Union or United Kingdom, Neet will provide the required information about that representative.

Users in the People's Republic of China

If you are located in mainland China, the Personal Information Protection Law of the People's Republic of China and related rules may apply to certain processing of personal information. Neet may store or process personal information outside mainland China, including in the United States.

Where applicable Chinese law imposes requirements on a cross-border transfer of personal information, Neet will take the steps required for the applicable transfer. Depending on the circumstances, those steps may include providing required notices, obtaining separate consent where required, entering into standard contractual arrangements, completing required filings or assessments, or using another transfer mechanism permitted by applicable law.

You may exercise applicable privacy rights by contacting us at contact@useneet.com. A request to restrict or withdraw permission for a cross-border transfer may affect Neet's ability to provide some or all of the service where the transfer is necessary to operate Neet.

Business users in China who enter personal information about their own employees, customers, suppliers, or contacts into Neet are responsible for their own obligations under applicable law, including any notices, consents, assessments, filings, or transfer requirements that apply to information they choose to provide to Neet.

10. Data Retention

We retain information for as long as reasonably necessary to provide, operate, maintain, secure, and improve Neet.

We may also retain information as needed to:

  • Maintain order, invoice, and teamspace records
  • Provide activity history
  • Support payment tracking records
  • Comply with legal obligations
  • Resolve disputes
  • Enforce agreements
  • Prevent fraud, abuse, or misuse
  • Maintain security
  • Support backups and disaster recovery
  • Operate our business

Deletion requests may be subject to legal, technical, backup, security, dispute resolution, and recordkeeping limitations.

In determining how long to retain a category of information, Neet considers the purpose for which it was collected, whether the related account or teamspace remains active, whether the information forms part of an order, invoice, approval, or payment tracking record that other users may rely on, applicable legal and regulatory retention requirements, the status of any dispute or investigation, and the potential harm from unauthorized use or disclosure. Account information is generally retained while an account is active and for a reasonable period afterward. Order, invoice, approval, and activity history records may be retained for as long as the related teamspace exists and thereafter as needed for the purposes described above. Technical log and security information is generally retained for a shorter period unless needed for an investigation. Information held in backups is deleted in accordance with Neet's backup rotation schedule.

11. Data Security

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards designed to protect information.

However, no online platform, internet transmission, storage system, or security measure is completely secure. We cannot guarantee absolute security.

You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account, login credentials, devices, teamspace permissions, invitation links, and authorized users.

If you believe your account or teamspace has been compromised, contact us at contact@useneet.com.

If Neet becomes aware of a security incident affecting personal information, we will investigate and will notify affected users, customers, and regulators where and as required by applicable law, without undue delay and within the timeframes that applicable law requires. Where Neet processes information on behalf of a business or organization, we will notify that organization so it can meet its own notification obligations.

12. Your Choices and Rights

Depending on where you live and the laws that apply, you may have rights to:

  • Access personal information we have about you
  • Correct inaccurate information
  • Delete certain information
  • Receive a portable copy of certain information
  • Object to or restrict certain processing
  • Opt out of certain targeted advertising, sale, or sharing of personal information where applicable
  • Opt out of marketing emails
  • Request information about how we use or share personal information
  • Withdraw consent where processing is based on consent
  • Appeal certain privacy-rights decisions where applicable
  • Lodge a complaint with a data protection authority or other regulator where applicable

You may exercise these rights by contacting us at contact@useneet.com or, where available, by using the applicable privacy or Cookie settings controls.

We may need to verify your identity before responding to certain requests. We may deny or limit requests where permitted by law, including where information must be retained for legal, security, dispute resolution, fraud prevention, backup, or legitimate business reasons.

If you are located in the European Economic Area, United Kingdom, Switzerland, or another jurisdiction that provides a right to complain to a supervisory authority, you may also contact the competent authority in your jurisdiction.

13. U.S. State Privacy Notice

Some U.S. state privacy laws may provide residents with additional rights regarding personal information.

Neet does not sell personal information for money.

Depending on the advertising and measurement technologies that are enabled, certain disclosures of identifiers, device information, or internet activity to advertising or measurement partners may be treated as a “sale,” “sharing,” or processing for targeted advertising under some state privacy laws, even where Neet does not receive money for the disclosure.

Where applicable, you may have the right to opt out of such processing, request access to or deletion of personal information, correct inaccurate information, obtain a portable copy of certain information, or appeal a privacy-rights decision. You may exercise applicable rights by contacting us at contact@useneet.com or through available Cookie settings or privacy controls. Where Neet enables advertising technologies that constitute a sale or sharing under applicable state law, Neet will provide a "Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information" link in the website footer, and you may exercise that right through the link or the Cookie settings.

In the preceding twelve months, Neet may have collected the following categories of personal information, as described in Section 2: identifiers, such as name, email address, phone number, IP address, and account identifiers; customer records, such as company profile and contact information; commercial information, such as order, invoice, pricing, and payment tracking records entered by users; internet or network activity information, such as log data, device information, and website usage; geolocation information limited to the general location inferred from an IP address; professional or employment-related information, such as job role, teamspace membership, and permissions; and inferences drawn from the foregoing for security, product improvement, and, where enabled, advertising measurement purposes. Neet collects this information from you directly, from other users who invite you or enter information about you, from your devices, and from service providers and authentication providers. Neet uses this information for the business purposes described in Section 4 and discloses it to the categories of recipients described in Section 5. Neet does not use or disclose sensitive personal information for purposes other than those permitted by applicable law. Neet will not discriminate against you for exercising any privacy right.

Authorized agents may submit requests on your behalf where permitted by applicable law. Neet may require proof of the agent's authority and may verify your identity directly.

Where applicable law requires recognition of a legally valid browser-based opt-out preference signal, Neet will process that signal as required by applicable law.

Neet does not knowingly sell or share the personal information of children under 18 for targeted advertising, and does not knowingly sell or share the personal information of any consumer we know to be under 16 without the affirmative authorization that applicable law requires.

Neet is not designed to collect consumer health data and does not intentionally use information collected through Neet to infer health conditions or provide consumer health services. Users should not enter health information into Neet, as described in Section 3. If a user nevertheless provides health-related information, Neet will handle that information as described in this Privacy Policy and as required by applicable law.

Residents of certain states may designate an authorized agent to submit requests on their behalf. Neet may require proof of the agent's authority and may verify the consumer's identity directly. If we decline a request, you may appeal that decision by replying to our response or contacting us at contact@useneet.com, and we will inform you of the outcome of the appeal and of your right to contact your state attorney general.

14. Children

Neet is not intended for anyone under 18 years old.

We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 18. If we learn that we have collected personal information from a child under 18, we may delete it.

Neet may contain links to third-party websites, services, login providers, communication tools, or platforms.

This Privacy Policy does not apply to third-party services that Neet does not control. We are not responsible for the privacy practices, content, security, or policies of third-party services.

You should review the privacy policies of any third-party services you use.

16. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time.

If we make material changes, we may notify you by email, in-app notice, website notice, or another reasonable method.

The updated Privacy Policy will be effective when posted or when otherwise stated. Your continued use of Neet after the updated Privacy Policy becomes effective means you acknowledge the updated Privacy Policy.
