(“Neet,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) collects, uses, shares, and protects information when you access or use Neet, including our website, online platform, teamspaces, invoice workspaces, collaboration tools, payment tracking features, communications, and related services.

By accessing or using Neet, you acknowledge this Privacy Policy.

1. What Neet Is

Neet is an online invoice collaboration platform that helps buyers, suppliers, and invited users create, share, review, revise, comment on, approve, and track invoices and related payment information in a shared digital workspace.

Neet does not process payments, hold funds, provide escrow, arrange shipping, inspect goods, verify transactions, or act as a buyer, supplier, broker, freight forwarder, customs broker, bank, payment processor, insurer, or guarantor.

2. Information We Collect

We collect information that users provide to us, information generated through use of the platform, and limited technical information needed to operate, secure, troubleshoot, and maintain Neet.

Account Information

We may collect information such as:

  • Name
  • Email address
  • Phone number
  • Login credentials or authentication information
  • Account settings
  • User role
  • Language or communication preferences
  • Other information you provide when creating or managing an account

Users may create or access accounts through email and password, magic link, Google login, phone number login, or other authentication methods that Neet may support now or in the future.

Teamspace Information

We may collect information related to teamspaces, including:

  • Teamspace name
  • Teamspace profile details
  • Company, organization, project, or personal teamspace information
  • Profile photo or logo
  • Address or company profile information, if provided
  • Teamspace members
  • Roles and permissions
  • Invitations and pending invites
  • Teamspace activity

A teamspace may represent a company, supplier, buyer, organization, individual, family project, personal project, or other group of users.

Invoice Information

Neet allows users to create flexible invoice workspaces. We may collect and store information users enter, upload, attach, or share through invoices, including:

  • Buyer information
  • Supplier information
  • Contact details
  • Product or service details
  • Descriptions
  • Quantities
  • Pricing
  • Totals
  • Payment terms
  • Payment milestones
  • Payment methods
  • Shipping-related terms
  • Notes
  • Custom columns
  • Custom fields
  • Files
  • Photos
  • Images
  • Comments
  • Approvals
  • Activity history
  • Any other information users choose to enter into the invoice workspace

Because Neet may provide flexible, table-like invoice tools, users may enter information in custom formats or custom columns. Users are responsible for the information they enter, upload, share, or approve.

Files, Photos, Comments, and Messages

We may collect files, photos, images, comments, messages, notes, attachments, internal comments, external comments, and other materials that users upload, post, send, or share through Neet.

Approval and Activity Information

We may collect information about actions taken in Neet, including invoice creation, invoice edits, comments, uploads, invitations, role changes, access changes, invoice approvals, payment milestone updates, login activity, account activity, and other platform activity.

Payment Tracking Information

Neet may collect and store user-entered payment tracking information, including payment milestones, payment percentages, payment amounts, payment method/type, due points or timing, buyer-side “paid” markers, supplier-side “received” markers, payment notes or status updates, and related activity history.

Neet does not process, collect, hold, transfer, release, settle, verify, or guarantee payments. Payment tracking information is manually entered by users and is used for workflow visibility only.

Contact Information About Others

Users may enter contact information for buyers, suppliers, team members, family members, representatives, or other invitees.

If you provide another person’s contact information to Neet, invite another person to Neet, or enter another person’s information into an invoice, you represent that you have a lawful basis, permission, or other right to provide that information to Neet for the invitation, invoice, collaboration, or platform workflow.

You are responsible for ensuring that the recipient is authorized to receive the invitation and any related invoice, teamspace, or workspace information.

Communications With Us

We may collect information when you contact us, request support, respond to emails, submit feedback, participate in onboarding, or otherwise communicate with Neet.

This may include your name, email address, message content, attachments, and any other information you choose to provide.

Technical, Device, Log, and Security Information

We may collect limited technical, device, usage, and log information for platform operations, troubleshooting, security, fraud prevention, and service reliability, such as:

  • IP address
  • Device type
  • Browser type
  • Operating system
  • Session information
  • Log data
  • Authentication events
  • Error reports
  • Security events
  • Pages or features accessed
  • Date and time of activity
  • Referring or exit pages
  • General platform usage information

We do not currently use analytics or advertising cookies.

3. Sensitive Information

Neet is not designed to collect or store sensitive personal information as part of its MVP invoice collaboration workflow.

Users should not enter or upload sensitive personal information unless it is necessary for their transaction and they have the legal right to do so.

Sensitive information may include government identification numbers, passport numbers, driver’s license numbers, bank account details, payment card information, tax identification numbers, health information, biometric information, children’s information, or other highly sensitive personal information.

If a user chooses to enter or upload sensitive information, that user is responsible for ensuring that the information is accurate, lawful, necessary, and shared only with appropriate recipients.

4. How We Use Information

We may use information to:

  • Provide, operate, and maintain Neet
  • Create and manage accounts
  • Authenticate users
  • Create and manage teamspaces
  • Create, display, and manage invoices
  • Enable invoice collaboration
  • Enable comments, uploads, approvals, and activity history
  • Enable manual payment milestone tracking
  • Send invitations and notifications
  • Provide customer support
  • Troubleshoot bugs and technical issues
  • Secure accounts and the platform
  • Detect, prevent, and respond to misuse, fraud, abuse, security incidents, or legal risk
  • Improve and develop the platform
  • Communicate with users about product updates, service messages, and support
  • Comply with legal obligations
  • Enforce our Terms of Service
  • Protect the rights, safety, and security of Neet, users, and others

5. How Information Is Shared

We do not currently sell personal information. We do not currently share personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising.

We may share information in the following ways.

With Authorized Users

Neet is a collaboration platform. Information entered into a teamspace, invoice, workspace, comment, file, or payment tracking area may be visible to users who are invited, authorized, assigned a role, added to an invoice, or otherwise given access through platform permissions.

For example:

  • Teamspace Admins may access teamspace invoices, drafts, files, comments, payment information, activity history, and related information.
  • Members may access invoices they created or were added to.
  • Viewers may access invoices or drafts they were added to, subject to their limited permissions.
  • Invited recipients may be able to view the specific invoice they were invited to.
  • Buyer-side and supplier-side users may see relevant invoice, approval, comment, and payment milestone information.

Users are responsible for inviting the correct people and assigning appropriate permissions.

With Service Providers

We may share information with third-party service providers that help us operate, host, secure, support, and deliver Neet.

These may include:

  • Hosting providers
  • Database providers
  • Cloud infrastructure providers
  • Storage providers
  • Authentication providers
  • Email providers
  • Phone, SMS, or verification providers
  • Customer support providers
  • Security providers
  • Error monitoring providers
  • Product operations providers
  • Other vendors that help us provide the platform

These may include providers such as Supabase, Vercel, Google authentication services, email providers, phone verification providers, and similar service providers.

These providers may process information on our behalf and are only permitted to use information as needed to provide services to us or as otherwise allowed by law.

With Third-Party Login or Communication Services

If you use Google login, phone login, magic link, WeChat login if later supported, or another third-party authentication or communication method, information may be processed by that third-party service according to its own terms and privacy policy.

Neet is not responsible for the privacy practices of third-party services outside our control.

We may share information if we believe it is reasonably necessary to:

  • Comply with law, regulation, legal process, or government request
  • Enforce our Terms of Service
  • Protect the rights, property, safety, or security of Neet, users, or others
  • Detect, prevent, or respond to fraud, abuse, security incidents, sanctions risk, counterfeit activity, misuse, or unlawful activity
  • Resolve disputes
  • Protect platform integrity

Business Transfers

If Neet is involved in a merger, acquisition, financing, reorganization, sale of assets, bankruptcy, or similar transaction, information may be transferred or disclosed as part of that transaction, subject to appropriate protections where required.

Aggregated or De-Identified Information

We may use and share aggregated, anonymized, or de-identified information that does not reasonably identify a specific person, teamspace, invoice, buyer, supplier, or user.

We may use this information for product improvement, security, reporting, research, business, and operational purposes.

6. AI and Automated Tools

Neet does not currently use user invoice content, files, comments, payment tracking information, or other User Content to train AI models.

Neet may use automated tools or AI-assisted features in the future to provide, support, translate, summarize, search, organize, extract, or improve platform functionality.

If we use third-party AI providers in the future to process User Content, we will describe the processing in this Privacy Policy or provide other appropriate notice.

Neet will not knowingly use identifiable User Content to train third-party public AI models without appropriate notice, permission, or legal basis.

Users should not enter confidential, sensitive, or personal information into any AI-assisted feature unless they are authorized to do so and are comfortable with that information being processed for the feature.

7. Cookies and Similar Technologies

Neet may use cookies, local storage, tokens, and similar technologies that are necessary to operate the platform, authenticate users, maintain sessions, remember preferences, secure accounts, and provide core functionality.

Neet does not currently use analytics or advertising cookies.

If Neet introduces analytics, advertising, retargeting, session replay, or other non-essential cookies or tracking technologies in the future, Neet may update this Privacy Policy and provide additional notice or consent options where required.

Because Neet does not currently use analytics or advertising cookies, Neet does not currently respond to browser “Do Not Track” signals.

You may be able to control cookies through your browser settings. Disabling necessary cookies or similar technologies may affect your ability to use Neet.

8. Emails, Notifications, and Communications

Neet may send transactional, administrative, security, account, invoice, invitation, approval, comment, payment tracking, and service-related communications.

These communications may be sent by email, phone, SMS, in-app notification, or other contact methods associated with your account or invitations.

Transactional and service-related communications are part of the platform and may be necessary for use of Neet.

Neet may also send marketing or promotional communications where permitted by law. You may opt out of marketing emails by following the unsubscribe instructions in the message or contacting us at contact@useneet.com. Even if you opt out of marketing communications, you may still receive transactional or service-related communications.

Neet will not knowingly send marketing SMS messages without consent where consent is required by law.

9. International Users and Data Transfers

Neet may be used by individuals and organizations in the United States, China, and other countries.

Information may be stored, processed, or accessed in the United States and other countries where Neet or its service providers operate. These countries may have data protection laws that differ from those in your country.

By using Neet or providing information to Neet, you understand that your information may be processed in the United States and other countries as described in this Privacy Policy.

Users are responsible for ensuring that any personal information they enter, upload, invite, or share through Neet is handled in compliance with laws that apply to them and their transactions.

10. Data Retention

We retain information for as long as reasonably necessary to provide, operate, maintain, secure, and improve Neet.

We may also retain information as needed to:

  • Maintain invoice and teamspace records
  • Provide activity history
  • Support payment tracking records
  • Comply with legal obligations
  • Resolve disputes
  • Enforce agreements
  • Prevent fraud, abuse, or misuse
  • Maintain security
  • Support backups and disaster recovery
  • Operate our business

Deletion requests may be subject to legal, technical, backup, security, dispute resolution, and recordkeeping limitations.

11. Data Security

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards designed to protect information.

However, no online platform, internet transmission, storage system, or security measure is completely secure. We cannot guarantee absolute security.

You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account, login credentials, devices, teamspace permissions, invitation links, and authorized users.

12. Your Choices and Rights

Depending on where you live and the laws that apply, you may have rights to:

  • Access personal information we have about you
  • Correct inaccurate information
  • Delete certain information

  • Withdraw consent where processing is based on consent

We may need to verify your identity before responding to certain requests. We may deny or limit requests where permitted by law, including where information must be retained for legal, security, dispute resolution, fraud prevention, backup, or legitimate business reasons.

Some U.S. state privacy laws may provide residents with additional rights regarding personal information.

Neet does not currently sell personal information. Neet does not currently share personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising.

If Neet introduces advertising, retargeting, or similar tracking in the future, we may update this Privacy Policy and provide additional choices where required.

If you are a resident of a state with applicable privacy rights, you may contact us at contact@useneet.com to request access, correction, deletion, or other rights available under applicable law.

14. Children

Neet is not intended for anyone under 18 years old.

We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 18. If we learn that we have collected personal information from a child under 18, we may delete it.

Neet may contain links to third-party websites, services, login providers, communication tools, or platforms.

This Privacy Policy does not apply to third-party services that Neet does not control. We are not responsible for the privacy practices, content, security, or policies of third-party services.

16. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time.

If we make material changes, we may notify you by email, in-app notice, website notice, or another reasonable method.

The updated Privacy Policy will be effective when posted or when otherwise stated. Your continued use of Neet after the updated Privacy Policy becomes effective means you acknowledge the updated Privacy Policy.
